GRAND GALLERY
UX transformation journey in a furniture website
GRAND GALLERY is a furniture and home decoration shop needed to enhance its online presence, as grand gallery website, through an intuitive redesign.
My Role – I worked as an individual designer on this project and I was responsible for the whole process from research to interface design.

Home Page – Improving user experience of Grand Gallery website

Approach – Focusing on visual consistency
Trustworthiness and professional brand image was the most important concerns of the shop owners. For years, they have tried to opt for the best quality and aesthetically appealing designs as well as providing their customers with an honest and responsive shopping experience, which has proven them as a trustworthy business with a unique sense of design.
Therefore, they desired their online presence, as grand gallery website, to transfer the same experience to the users and to present the business aligned to its core values.
Inconsistent visual style and inadequate product descriptions can hinder users’ decision-making process and lead to dissatisfaction which will hurt the brand image. According to this, this project focuses on establishing a consistent visual style across the website and also improving the presentation of product details through a clear minimal interface design.

Style Guide – Using style guide to achieve visual consistency
“Latest picks” part is designed and located in home page to present and introduce the latest products in a way that users can get effortlessly informed of the newest furniture and accessories.
Also, to avoid user confusion, a clear categorization of furniture products and a sticky intuitive navigation bar is designed for the website.
